My Name is Steve Thweatt

Steve Thweatt began his piano career in 1973 while majoring in Piano Performance, winning a college orchestra competition that featured him as guest pianist. His passion for piano—second only to God and the family he and Ellen have built over 47 years—carried him into decades of sharing music with thousands.

During and after college, he accompanied a former Broadway star who became a voice instructor. As his piano skill continued to open new opportunities, Steve appeared on television for local and international programs, sometimes as a guest pianist or speaker. Over the years, his work has placed him among famous icons, music legends, movie stars, and high‑ranking officials, offering both featured and background piano and creating lasting musical memories through his original compositions and orchestral sounds.

Raised in Taiwan by missionary parents whose denomination forbade instruments in worship, Steve taught himself piano at age 15 on borrowed pianos. Those humble beginnings grew into a prestigious career shaped by God’s plan to release beauty and inspiration through his music, a journey through which he has continually sought to bring honor to God.

Creating memories, piano music, and orchestral sounds have been my trademark for many years. As long as I have the breath of life in me, I will continue to give my talent back to God and the people. I love doing this! CONTACT me if you like.
